However they are not the only band to come out in the 90's that are still making great music (commenting on the richardmule79's post). Stone Temple Pilots (back together), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Marilyn Manson, Green Day comes to mind. I don't like most of them as much as Radiohead (except maybe STP) but record sales and fan base do not lie...
