I understand there is some allegory, but this is also a look at the drive-in movie theatres that would sponsor the famous weird Ed Wood and his cardboard tombstones falling over with flying saucers on fish wire; the drive-in movies were to have sex as you owned the car, and the movies showed anything in results.
