This tecnic allows you to play very fast.Now arabic people are playing with the turkish tecnic on the arabic darbuka.

Nov 27, 2008 - i am syrian... it is different... turkish ist faster and more technique, butarabic darbuka is nice and smooth and the rythms keep goind and sound good. i find that turkish player are sometimes too much concentrated on the technique so you dont hear any rythm any more
