Jun 27, 2008 - You're right, it was much better than the so-called mainstream media, and I do think they tried to do too much.

Jun 27, 2008 - Chomskyan will upload the whole enchilada, if and when it becomes available, I'm sure! Thanks for this.

Jun 28, 2008 - This is a nice add, C. The thing that always amazes me about NC is how he talks about the totally criminal actions of the the govt in this sort of flat affect way. He's always so calm and collected as though he's talking about the weather. I border on lunacy when I talk about this stuff. He's truly amazing.
Chomskyan Says:
Jun 28, 2008 - I just emailed Link TV about it. Waiting to hear back.
Chomskyan Says:
Jun 28, 2008 - I just read that Peter Coyote is a pretty well-known actor and writer.
Chomskyan Says:
Jun 28, 2008 - Hey Devon, thanks. Some people actually criticize him for remaining so calm.... I don't know why. People like to judge from appearance I guess. He's said that he is actually seething inside all the time. We should all be. We just express the anger differently. He channels it into reasoned critique. I only hope to be as productive as he has been.
KentAllard Says:

8Marx8 Says:
Jul 17, 2008 - The most refined shedders of blood have been almost always the most highly civilized gentlemen," to whom all the official terrorists "could not have held a candle.
8Marx8 Says:
Jul 17, 2008 - Quotes are from PENTAGON PAPERS: There were nine "wide-ranging explanations of US involvement given in the Vietnam war". The first two are "idealistic imperialism and economic imperialism". Good luck with locating any ilk of this in mainstream media.
8Marx8 Says:
Jul 17, 2008 - "Manufacturing of consent as a revolution in the practice of democracy. It is a technique of control and necessary because the common interests very largely elude the public opinion and can be managed only by specialized class." Walter Lippmann in "Public Opinion"
timcoles Says:
Jul 21, 2008 - Chomsky used to be a film fan. I wonder if he's seen any of Coyote's movies?
pakarpis Says:
Aug 31, 2008 - If only we could act on the words of Noam Chomsky? How can we act? What points in history have a people ever succeeded against systems we are tolerating now? What can people do to remedy this situation? What society does he think has come close to the greatest good?
klasomentas Says:

nigel106 Says:

chuckkottke Says:
Sep 9, 2008 - ..and let's not forget Bush's buddy-buddy with the one and only Vladimir Putin! The awareness of whom you are dealing with may not be immediately apparent; I see only decency in Chomsky, and I respect his views. Life is too precious to leave to the warheads to decide upon.
shlomo01 Says:
Sep 11, 2008 - i didnt know that bush was a supporter and instrument in getting putin in office! He also made a huge arguement in favor of the pals kidnapping shilat. he said that israel kidnapped a dr and his son first. however, to this day there is no name of the Dr nor son. He is an instigator who failed in the 60's and is trying to make a come back. he is a linguist and should stick to that!
shlomo01 Says:
Sep 11, 2008 - he being chompers!
chuckkottke Says:
Sep 11, 2008 - Well, what I mean is that Bush sits there with Putin at the Olympics watching basketball & having ice-cream together, all the while Russian forces are invading Georgia. Seems a little uncanny, but then Bush is unaware of Putin's motives (I think?). The other matter I am not aware of, except for the business of trading prisoners between Israel and Palestine. But revenge is no excuse for that type of act - Chomsky was wrong if that's what he said. But I still think he's a rare voice to hear..
