Mar 10, 2010 - you clearly haven't seen some of the stranger stuff japanese movies have to offer xD But BR was twisted..but still an amazing movie..I want Death Note included on this =]

Mar 10, 2010 - I'm a huge Woody Allen Fan, but Anything Else is NOT a great movie. The best Allen movie since 1992 is probably Mighty Aphrodite, but maybe Tarantino has a grudge against the his ex-wife who stars in it. If so, he could have picked Husbands & Wives, Manhatten Murder Mystery, Bullets Over Broadway, Deconstructing Harry, Sweet & Lowdown or Vicky Christina Barcelona. These are the best movies (actually the only good movies) Allen has done since 1992.

Mar 10, 2010 - No, I mean it's not really a "top list" when the movies run in alphabetical order rather than awesomeness.

Mar 10, 2010 - true... QT looks like a weird guy like that though. someone asks him to do something, and he'll go and do the opposite

gepetto887 Says:

Mar 12, 2010 - @jimgrude Yes, it is a top list. It's just not "This is #1, this is #2, this is #3, etc." It's just the top twenty, not in order of awesomeness within that list.

Mar 12, 2010 - i didnt recognise most of the movies that he mentioned there, i need to watch more films! i was suprised to see the matrix in there and i know what he means about the mythology being ruined by 2 and 3 however they were worth it because of the awesome action martial arts scenes!! Quentin Tarentino is awesome!

Mar 15, 2010 - I dunno, The Host wasn't really a good movie at all to me. It was kinda boring and draaaaaawnnn out.

Kiba450 Says:

Mar 16, 2010 - Some fantastic ones that I expected in there, including some that I was pleasantly surprised to see. I wasn't a fan of Unbreakable... thought it was a cool idea that wasn't as interesting as I hoped. But I did only see it in the theaters when I was pretty young, so maybe it's worth watching again to see if my opinion has changed.

mancheromanchero Says:

Mar 16, 2010 - battle royale? really? i thought it was rather cheesy

coolbrett Says:

Mar 17, 2010 - For a great director he has a pretty average taste in movies. There were so many great movies out for the last 17 years!

kevinargh Says:

Mar 17, 2010 - Surprising he picked Joint Security Area ahead of Chan-wook Park's entire vengeance trilogy. I feel the same way even though I *love* the trilogy. J.S.A. is just so damn impactful in a real-world way.

kenjilepb Says:

Mar 17, 2010 - One day Quentin, one day...you shall recieve yur oscar and do what ever you want it. 'Inglorious Basterds' was sick!
