Added: Oct 6, 2008 From:PiroNiro Duration: 0:36 Hello everyone, I've decided to have my own Islam week in order to continue dialogue on the topic of Islamists and their attack on freedom of speech and expression in the West and around the world. Despite Youbute's large global audience and vast variety of channels, there seems to be very little in the way of commentary on this topic. It's completely insignificant compared to the amount of news and headlines that are being made daily. For example: Richard Dawkins.net banned in Turkey Blind women sentenced to be beheaded for witchcraft in Saudi Arabia Pat Condell's banning for promoting a pedition to stop Sharia law in Britain Sharia Courts operating in Britain The Saudi fatwa against cartoon mice (!?!) UN resolution on the defamation of religion Islamist Firebombing of the publisher of the Jewel of Medina The list goes on and on. As far as I can tell, there are only 2 channels that REALLY focus on this topic (Pat Condell and Victimlesscriminal) and there should be many more. If you have been dying to make an Islam video, but were hesitant to do so, now is a good time. In fact, I encourage everyone to make a video on the topic. And I'm not advocating simply as an attack on Islam. If you disagree with the criticism presented, explain why. The point is to talk. Despite the graphics, this is not meant to be a joke. Again, this is simply to spark discussion and to help correct the complete drought of videos on this topic. STAY TUNED! -Piro P.S: The ball is actually a bomb. Nov 10, 2008 - Mohammed taught that... Hell is mainly occupied by women according to Mohammed!!!! Satan urinates into the ears of those who fall asleep during prayers according to Mohammed!!!! Mohammed commanded his followers to drink camel urine described by the Hadith!!!!! If you pray with your eyes lifted towards the heavens, they will be snatched out of you head according to the Hadith!!! Mohammed food would shout praise to Allah as it was eaten! At least atheism is rational is that too much to ask?

Nov 10, 2008 - What did this statement mean?
nobagav Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - "but wouldn't you find it at least a bit offensive if..." No, because I don't have any sacred cows, and I find it offensive when someone asks me to limit myself when it comes to theirs. To me such a violation of free speech is at least as offensive as anything I could say were that prohibition removed.

Nov 15, 2008 - At least religion discourages lying, is that too much to ask?
nahedh Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - May His name never be spoken from your impertinent mouth again.
nahedh Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - Of course, with that comes the freedom to corrupt.
nahedh Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - I know a few who are Muslim :D
nahedh Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - ...... No.
pblcenmy27951 Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - Not Islam!
nahedh Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - 1) Still, does that give you a reason NOT to lie about other faiths? 2) In what way? Come on, I'd like to see you try one one well contextualized, properly translated verse of the real Quran that bluntly states "Lie to all infidels". Awaiting your sincere reply.
nahedh Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - *Oops, in 1 disregard the "NOT". Clearly it's way past my bedtime.
nahedh Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - Oh, so you're an atheist. That explains a lot. Okay, I couldn't really find another way to put this, but say that someone really close to you (I'm sure you can relate) went missing, and you knew they were still alive. Suddenly, another person (lacking legitimate evidence as far as you are concerned) declares him or her dead, and starts laughing mockingly, insulting them behind their back and attempting to humiliate you for believing that, truthfully, the person still exists. Freedom of speech?
nobagav Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - "so you're an atheist." Way to jump to conclusions. Wrong by the way. "say that someone really close to you" Totally different situation. You can't even prove to me that the persons or stories really had any close relation to what is printed because we are talking about texts that are hundreds to thousands of years old. Additionally, the people in question have become emblems of a group, and like celebrities, lose a portion of their individual privacy. So yeah, freedom of speech.

Nov 22, 2008 - Christians and Jews are the grandsons of monkeys and pigs. Death to you and all pigs brothers
MottomoShiroi Says:
Nov 24, 2008 - Is that a prayer? Let's see if Allah cares enough to answer "yes". Allahu Akbar! *BOOM* Guess not...
nahedh Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - It's people like you who help feed the flames of everyday propaganda that attempts to give us Arabs and Muslims a bad name. I hope you do realize that God discourages acts of the inequitable (i.e. Quran 5:51 and 60:8). And PLEASE, if you cannot hold back your provocative, blatant remarks then do not comment on videos such as this. Anyways, I hope that I have successfully encouraged you to change your ways. Peace :)
nahedh Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - My apologies, I had assumed that you were merely taking a biased perspective on the concept of religion as opposed to being discourteous towards a specific faith. But just to be sure that I'm not jumping to conclusions again, what exactly did you mean with your "sacred cows" remark? What I'm trying to say here is would a deliberately offensive violation of your religion (whatever it is) seem like freedom of speech to you?

Nov 28, 2008 - Sorry, YouTube's comments are screwing up again so my reply appeared twice. While I'm at it though, I might as well advise that you remain composed with what you express throughout your "free speech". Not that you're crossing any limits, but I do not intend to have to resort to offending my adversaries (though I do argue). I, as well as most others, normally show more respect to those who can remain unruffled, polite even, while stating their dispute. Just a suggestion...

Nov 28, 2008 - hay you fucking american shit. I hope you die now and death to your U.S solidar in Iraq. Fuck all christians and Jewss the offspring of Pigs. We will be back as soon as just wait you fucking faggot son of christian bitch
nobagav Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - "what exactly did you mean with your 'sacred cows' remark?" Sorry if this caused confusion. I was using it in the more colloquial sense, that is, anything that is held to be so holy that it cannot be touched. "...would a deliberately offensive violation of your religion (whatever it is) seem like freedom of speech to you?" Yes. As far as I'm concerned, censorship is the most offensive of all alternatives. Especially censorship backed up by homicidal mobs. To me, that invites ridicule.
nobagav Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - "I might as well advise that you remain composed..." Honestly, I only resort to base language when I can no longer stand being a passive recipient of it. I'll throw no stone that I feel has not been thrown at me first.
nobagav Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - "It's people like you who help feed the flames..." Sadly, I thought at first that this might be just another troll, but the account is active and relevant to the message... You are right though. Theirs are exactly what 'feed the flames', and I dare say it is exactly those kinds of remarks make it easy to see some of the invective replies as justified. Not that I think all Muslims are like this, but like most religious groups, it does have zealots deserving of rebuke.
