Aug 20, 2008 - For me, it's Asala definitely, but that's my opinion. I like her versatility and unbelievable control over her voice. Her songs in the khaleeji style are heavenly, especially raweh o rooh, in which she displays her crazy vocals gymnastics like..well..crazy! Fulla is a powerhouse as well, but I prefer Asala over her. For me Asala and Najwa Karam (a beast in the mawal style) have the best voices among Arab singers.

And yes, Rawah Ou Rouh is an incredible song from Asalah, and yes you found the good word for it ! Crazy vocal gymnastics ! Fulla sounds good too and has a good voice, but for me it is Asalah too indeed. By the way, Asalah, Najwa Karam and Samira Saïd are the 3 legends (in my opinion). All of them are a 'Shams El Ghinnieh'. Masha'Allah 3alayhoum.
