Two movies pwned and my fav is Death Proof Shame that it didn't translate in box office because many people prefer watching comedy Blades of Glory and many kids are watching that lame family film Are we done yet.

Oct 6, 2008 - Movie was a big let down for me. Planet Terror wasn't very good and death proof had a good first half but went downhill from there. I don't think any movie maker mojo was lost here though, these movies were meant to be stupid and bad. The problem was they weren't stupid or bad enough! You want to see an awesomely bad movie, see "The Wicker Man" with Nicolas Cage, Sheer Awesomeness. Speaking of Cage, the fake trailers in Grindhouse were great!

Nov 15, 2008 - Plannet Terror was hilarious, and tbh, I didn't find Death Proof all that good. The narrative was absent, and there were only few action scenes, but just shows Tarrantino can pull more or less anything off.

Nov 17, 2008 - I dont get pissed very often, but this is just ridicilous. Do you even know what Grindhouse is. In 70s a lot of lowbudget movies were made. These movies didnt primarilly aimed for quality, instead they aimed for primary selling objects such as: sex and violence. These movies were usually shown late at night and as double features which were called GRINDHOUSE feature. This movie combination is meant to be nostalgic B-movie extravaganza. Which is not meant to be taken siriously

Nov 22, 2008 - If you don't understand what's good about Death Proof, I recommend you watch some 70's exploitation movies like Faster Pussycat Kill Kill Kill etc. Death Proof is a supurb tribute to the low budget movies in those days. And again, a very fine soundtrack.

Nov 22, 2008 - In Europe they didn't show the movies as a double feature in the cinemas. They were shown seperate. However they didn't cut out scenes like they did in the USA. :)
