Aug 1, 2010 - i'm american i went to fes and absolutly was enchanted with the place, i stayed in a rhiad behind the blue gate it a place that right out of arabian night fes is definately a place to see. fes has so many beautiful old buildings, foods and mosaics, the people treated me very well if you go with a positive outlook and the mindset of sharing happiness you will enjoy morrocco. the only warning is to avoid guides they take you to places with inflated prices to get a cut. negotiate on your own.
